Spring Has Sprung Full Moon Paddle

DSCF0026Spring has Sprung Full Moon Paddle

Tuesday March 22nd 5:30 – 9 PM
(mas o menos)

Longer days means that the Full Moon paddles are back in session. Join Surfrider Foundation Central Texas Chapter on an informal paddle out and moonrise watching party on Tuesday March 22nd at 5:30 PM at the Expedition School . We plan on meeting up at 5:30 and going out in the water about 6PM. If you cannot get there until later, it will not be hard to find us in the cove or close by. We usually circle up and have a “board meeting” in the cove before heading out to the lake.

Paddle boards are available but feel free to bring any type of board or watercraft you are comfortable in.

The moon will rise at 7:15 while the sun will set at 7:45. Twilight should be perfect and pleasant. The weather forecast is good (so far) so still out so it should be a very nice evening to enjoy the lake.

We will have trash clean up supplies for those so inclined and refreshments for afterwards.

This is a great way to catch up on Texas beach activities and share in the stoke of springtime in Texas.

In case of questionable weather we will send out follow up announcements via Facebook and our mailing list. If you have any questions you can contact us at centraltexas@surfrider.org or Jamie at 512/ 694-1073.
