Despite freezing temperatures (literally 32 degrees outside at the start of the cleanup), we had a great turnout for our first Lady Bird Lake Cleanup for 2012! The lake was very dirty, and our volunteers took tons of trash from the water and up and down the trails. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, and the Texas Rowing Center and Keep Austin Beautiful for helping to put on such an amazing event. For those of you who missed this cleanup, this is a bi-monthly event, and you can view all of the cleanup dates on our Lake Clean Ups Page. The next Lady Bird Lake cleanup will be held Saturday, April 12th, and we will post the registration details as we get closer to the date.
